Our Beliefs
and how we apply them
What We Believe
THE BIBLE
is the inspired infallible and authoritative Word of God.
THERE IS ONE GOD
eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
is our Lord. He is God. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He worked miracles and still does. He died vicariously as a substitution for us, and by his death atoned for (removed) our sins. Jesus was physically resurrected by God. He ascended to Heaven and is at the Father's right hand as our only intercessor in Heaven. He could return at any moment to take those who love him to Heaven.
CLEANSING FROM SIN
is available to all who ask. We can be cleansed from our sin through repentance and faith in Christ's atoning death.
REGENERATION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
We can not be saved unless the Holy Spirit makes us alive.
GOD STILL HEALS
the human body, mind, and soul in answer to believing prayer.
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
There is an ongoing experience of the Spirit's fullness available to all who ask.
What We Do
OUR MISSION
is to confront and transform our culture with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
OUR MEANS
We evangelize: We proclaim a message of hope, freedom, and forgiveness from sin of any kind through a personal relationship with Jesus. We equip. We walk with new and growing Christians, helping, training, and challenging them as they grow in the knowledge of Jesus. We empower. We challenge and commission healthy Christians to take their hope into the world. We encourage. We seek to restore exhort, and provide support to those who are weary from service.
OUR MESSAGE
is personal. We seek to bring it to every ethnic group and every strata of society. It is practical. It is effective in real life, where we live, so we try to keep it real, gritty, and earthy—yet always stay true to God's Word, the Bible. It is powerful. We expect, are dependent upon, and give place to the supernatural work of God.
