SERVICE DESCRIPTION

As a member of this team, you will lead our congregation in a set of worship songs before and after the sermon each week. In preparation, you will receive a set-list every Wednesday that is prayerfully developed to capture the theme of the coming service. Whenever possible, you will join in for a Wednesday night practice session with the rest of the team. On Saturdays, you will arrive ready for team prayer by 4:00. You will work with the Audio team to adjust the sound before pre-service practice.

This is a straightforward ministry, but deeply impactful on many levels. In addition to the responsibility of leading our congregation in a time of worship, individuals in this ministry are highly visible. They will be seen as an indication of the health and commitment of our church as a whole. It is important that people in this ministry are especially cognizant of public perception and committed to living their life in a way that truly reflects the gospel.
